PhotoJuournalism

Photojournalism is a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story.

This example of how Monet signed his paintings is from one of his waterlily paintings. You can see he's signed it with a name and surname (Claude Monet) and the year (1904). It's in the bottom right-hand corner, far in enough so it would not be cut off by the frame.

Monet's full name was Claude Oscar Monet.
