Art and Copy

5 things I've learned from the film is:
~ Nike got there slogan from a man who said lets do it, and nike changed it to just do it.
~ The apple company started of being a small company.
~ Apple spent 7 billon dollars on bill-boards.
~ 2.7 million dollars spent on NFL Super-bowl advertisements
~ Advertisement made Tommy Hilfiger famous

Advertisement helped Tommy Hilfiger by posting his image and his logo on billboards.
Advertisement showed Tommy Hilfiger what his customers like, so he improved and this made his clothing line more famous.

Just to be able to have a 30 second ad in the super bowl it cost 2.7 million dollars. Its was extremely expensive.

Advertisement is like are because it can be presented in many different ways and catches peoples attention. Advertisement is like pollution because it can cause one to lose control.

The slogan "Just Do It", cause Nike and increasingly profit. This was successful because Nike became famous over this slogan.

7. East-West split threatens nuclear unity on Iran
The U.S. and its Western allies face an unpalatable choice over Iran at a key U.N. atomic agency meeting Thursday.
They can defy Russia and China with a demand that the Islamic Republic start answering questions on its alleged secret nuclear arms program or face renewed referral to the U.N. Security Council. The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian - By: Sherman Alexie

The author started the story by introducing his main character, who was a Native American teenager, named Arnold “Junior”, who was experimenting his first year in high school. Junior lives on the Spokane Indian Reservation, where he discovers that alcohol is more important to most residents than an education is. Junior decides to transfer to a better educated school named Reardan High, a white school. Everybody treated him differently, but junior stayed strong and kept working hard. He tries out for basketball so he could impress this girl, he makes the varsity team and eventually even becomes a starting player. Junior’s biggest challenge comes when he must play against his former basketball team from the reservation, whose star player is none other than Junior’s ex–best friend, Rowdy. They win the game and Rowdy stays made at him. This is when he realized he lost his closes friend for ever.

    PhotoJuournalism

Photojournalism is a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story.

This example of how Monet signed his paintings is from one of his waterlily paintings. You can see he's signed it with a name and surname (Claude Monet) and the year (1904). It's in the bottom right-hand corner, far in enough so it would not be cut off by the frame.

Monet's full name was Claude Oscar Monet.
